Akufo-Addo incurs the wrath of Ghanaians over lockdown lift amid 1042 corona cases

The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has incurred the wrath of some section of Ghanaians for suspending the lockdown.

President Akufo-Addo yesterday, April 19, 2020, lifted the three weeks ban he placed on movement within the Accra and Kumasi Metropolis in the fight against COVID-19.

Moments after the lockdown suspension, several Ghanaians took to social media to register their worriedness and anger as to why the government took such a decision when the coronavirus cases are on the rise.

Ghface.com monitored as these ‘over-worried’ Ghanaians descended heavily on the president questioning his decision to suspend the lockdown when himself said the country has recorded 1042 cases at the of his address.
