The Ghana Education Service (GES) has instructed the headmistress of the Achimota School to admit the two students who reported on campus with dreadlocks.
Recall two Rastafarian students who were denied admission into Achimota SHS because of their dreadlocks.
According to the authorities of the Achimota School, their refusal to admit the dreadlock students was based on the GES code of conduct.

Well, Ghana Education Service (GES) Saturday, March 20, 2021, in a communique has directed Achimota School to immediately admit the 2 first-year students.
Director-General of GES, Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa said the school management School cannot refuse to admit the two students.
He said;
“You cannot say that you will not admit someone on the basis of the person’s religious belief and so we have asked the head to allow the children to be in school.”
