Achimota school declines directive of GES to admit rastafarian students.

One of the most prominent senior high schools, Achimota school has declined the directive of the Ghana Education Service(GES) to admit rastafarians.

According to the headmistress and the Old Students Association in a meeting with the regional director of education and the GES, the school will not compromise its rules in admitting the rastafarian students.

Achimota school claims that even though the GES has the authority to make such directives, matters should be left for the school authorities to handle.
