Outspoken Takoradi-based blogger Boga Ali Hashim believes the Criminal Investigation Department boss Madam Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah did her best to rescue the kidnapped Takoradi girls hence she must be commended for her efforts and support instead of calling for her resignation by some Ghanaians.
According to him, the CID boss together with the Ghana Police during the frantic search for the girls did enough to assuage the pain of the affected families and it is sad and unfair for some people to blame her for what has happened.
Boga Ali Hashim who made this assertion in a facebook post, wrote
āIām highly dejected over the death of the kidnapped girls, however truth be told I’m very saddened that one person is being unfairly blamed for what has happened. The CID Boss did what everyone else would or could have done. Whatever she ought to do she did it, Whoever is pushing for her resignation is being deluded.
We are targeting her unfairly, it is hypocritical for people to ask her to go.”
“Maame Tiwaa, I’ll stand with you any day, your efforts is well recognised and highly appreciated. May Allah Bless You.” he added.
The CID boss has come and deluge of attacks over her attempts to offer hope to parents of the victims as the issue raged on.
