Former President Jerry John Rawlings has been captured directing vehicular traffic on the Accra-Prampram road.
On Sunday evening, the first president of the fourth republic who might be using that part of the road had to intervene in the traffic situation.
According to reports, Mr. Rawlings was dissatisfied with the conduct of drivers on the road and had no option to get out of his car to help the situation on the road.
In the viral video, ex-President Rawlings was seen making some gestures to drivers and road users in the middle of the road.
“Mr. Rawlings, according to a close associate, has noticed the indiscipline on several occasions and therefore decided to ‘step out and direct traffic and bring a sense of orderliness.”
