Nigerian afrobeat star, Burna Boy has won ‘Best Global Music Album’ with ‘Twice As Tall’ at the Grammy Awards 2021 of the 63rd annual ceremony.

The superstar from Nigeria takes home Best Global Music Album at the 2021 GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony.

This feat marks his first career GRAMMY win and Burna Boy in his acceptance speech said; “Africa is in the house… This is a big win for my generation of Africans all over the world.

This is his second Grammy nomination. His album, ‘Twice as Tall’ was nominated for the newly named ‘Global Music’ award. Last year, his album ‘African Giant’ was nominated in the same category that was previously known as ‘World Album’.
