Afro fuse musician and daughter of legendary highlife artiste Nana Acheamong, Jackline Acheampong aka Gyakie has rebutted the claims that she made it this far in the music Industry because of her dad.
In an interview on Y 102.5 FM with NY DJ monitored by GHFace.com, the artiste said her good music and hard work on the part of her managers have brought her into the lamplight and not because of her relation to the legendary highlife artiste.
“I have not done well in the music scene because of my connections but it is all as a result of hard work on my part and that of my managers”, she said.
Gyakie further revealed that updating her fans about all that happens around her also contributes greatly to her success and not connections as many people think.
