An H IV-positive maid was on Wednesday, sentenced to 25 years in prison for intentionally infecting a 10-year-old boy with the v!rus and a s£xual!y transmitted infection in Zimbabwe.
40-year-old Memory Makore allegedly c0axed the boy on two occasions, infecting him with H IV and g£nital warts.
Makore pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated indecent assault and to deliberately transmitting H IV when she appeared before Harare Magistrate Jessy Makufa.

Prosecutor Chipo Matambo said in April, 2018, Makore undressed the minor and sl£pt with him without protection.
Matambo said in May, the boy went to stay with his grandmother and started developing genital warts and was later treated for S TI at the Murewa Hospital.
However, on New Year’s Eve, the maid allegedly undressed the minor and had unprotected inter course with him again. The boy eventually narrated his ordeal to his mother, leading to Makore’s arrest.
