Female talented vocalist, Ateaa Tina has disclosed that being a backup vocalist is not easy in the least.
According to her in an interview with Docta Cann on Happy 98.9 FM, the job of a back up vocalist is not easy as most people see it.
Ateaa Tina also disclosed that one does not get the recognition they deserve even though they work very hard to back the main artiste or singer.
The voice behind the legendary Daddy Lumba used herself as an example of the hardwork and struggles that a backup artiste has to go through to make it.
“I was in school and singing at the same time and that was quite difficult for me because sometimes, I’ll have to travel from one place to another and doing all these was not easy at all”.
She also revealed how some of her fellow backup vocalist were treated in a bad way and were sometimes not paid for the work they do.
