Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation has clearly stated that under no circumstances will they ever think of doing politics.
According to the twins on Takoradi based Connect FM, ,they would rather go hungry than endorse a political party.
DopeNation explained that their brand depicts a nation that share ideas and feelings so supporting a particular political party would lead to inequality which would be a bad name for the brand.
The ‘Zanku’ hitmakers also said they would not be able to voice out their opinion regarding issues affecting the nation if their supporting party is in power and that according to them is disturbing.
The twin artistes reminded the presenter that their fans are from different political backgrounds and it would be rude if they choose a particular political party over another since their music is for everyone and not a political party.
