Ghana’s greatest rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie has set the record straight, says he is the first Ghanaian artiste to start a fanbase ‘SarkNation’ in Ghana.
He said in an interview with Abeiku Santana;
“For the record, I was the first artist in Ghana who used the people to come into the industry. I didn’ come into the industry through the industry gates. I used the industry platform but how I dominated the game, I used the people because there weren’t many avenues for me to showcase what I had aside Adom FM so I used the people and then I created the whole fan base thing and now every artist is jumping on the base thing.”
Could Sarkodie’s claim of being the first Ghanian artist to have started a fan base silent any other artistes claiming the same?
