Legendary Ghanaian Playwright, James Ebo Whyte, popularly known as Uncle Ebo Whyte says he would preferably choose a girl child over a boy on any day.
In an interview on TV3’s NewDay, the lead writer at Roverman Productions said having a daughter is far better than having a son because a woman is able to think about the family.
According to him, he has always had the ideology that a female would always think about bringing home money and making sure the family is happy and in good shape.
Uncle Ebo Whyte said;
“I have always told my adopted sons that given a chance, I would choose a daughter over a son, any day. Because daughters apart from being sweer, they never leave home. Daughters make sure parents are well catered for all their life whether they have the means or not. They pay attention.
“If we are able to equip those girls. If we were able to enable them to become the best that they can be. You would never know pain and suffering for the rest of your life.”
