Ghanaian actress Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo who was sentenced to 3-month imprisonment has been granted bail today, Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
The Criminal Court 2 Division of the High Court has granted convicted actress Akuapem Poloo ¢80,000 bail with two sureties that will be justified.
The court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey who granted the bail said the applicant has satisfied the four grounds of bail pending appeal.
As part of her bail condition, Rosemond Brown has to report to the case investigator every two weeks and also deposit her passport with the registrar of the court.
Recall, her lawyer Andrews Kudzo Vortia on Monday, April 19, 2021, filed a notice of appeal and application for bail against the actress’s custodial sentence at the same time.
