Ghanaian broadcasting journalist, Serwaa Amihere has cautioned Ghanaians who force marriage on our female celebrities to stop doing so.
According to the multiple award winning journalist in a tweet sighted by Ghface.com, these kind of pressure leads women to fall in unhappy and abusive marriages.
Serwaa Amihere tweet came about after an inquisitive citizen gave a silly comment as to why she is not yet married at the age of 31.
” Everyday go and marry! As though it’s the most important thing in life. You’ll be pushing women to end up in unhappy and abusive marriages”, she tweeted.
She opined that marriage is the most important thing in life and should not be forced on people.
