A tragedy that happened at Apam had it told that 20 teenagers have been drowned at the Apam beach.
According to sources, the children aged 14 to 17 went on a swimming spree using an illegal route despite the ban by government.
The children, whose number are said to be over 25 were taken into the sea by a heavy tidal wave which led to their drowning.
The Apam police according to sources were able to rescue three on Sunday, 7th March 2021 and retrieved twelve bodies on Monday, 8th March 2021.
Search is still ongoing by the local community to hopefully find some of the children.
