Former member of Parliament for Offinso North and presidential candidate hopeful Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku has urged New Patriotic Party members to scrutinize presidential aspirant candidates before voting for them.
According to the former ECOWAS Commissioner for Macroeconomic Policy, party supporters should not vote based on popularity, but rather on the track record and credibility of presidential aspirants before electing the New Patriotic Party’s leader in the 2024 elections.
This was stated by Dr. Konadu Apraku in an interview with Modern Africa Online.
Dr Konadu Apraku elaborated on his call, saying, “He was certain that his experience ranging from academic, corporate, and governmental puts him on top in solving Ghana’s challenges and will activate his expertise for better Ghana growth.
The presidential candidate hopeful on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket also discussed governance, leadership, and what he can offer. .
“What we need as a country is the right leadership because we are already blessed with the resources to develop our nation,” he said.
Dr Apraku urged delegates to vote for him to lead the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 elections.
Dr. Konadu Apraku, who served in former President John Agyekum’s administration and was particularly involved in oil exploration, the AGOA program, the HiPC initiative, and school feeding programs, urged Ghanaians for a competent leader who will take Ghana to the promise land.
